Speaker 1:

Hello, hello, welcome back One more time. God's diamonds in the rough, Amen. I am your host, Catherine.

Speaker 2:

And I am Michael.

Speaker 1:

We are your hosts and we are so glad that you are here. If this is your first time tuning in, God bless you. We certainly do appreciate your presence. Amen. Y'all know what it's all about. I want you to tell them what it's about in a quick nutshell, for the first timers.

Speaker 2:

It's all about the revival, amen. You know, we got to realize that. You know things have to pass away to be revived. That means you got to get rid of some things to get the fruit.

Speaker 1:

Amen, some things have to die, you mean.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

In order for the produce, the food to be or the fruit to be produced Is that really what you mean?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's what I mean. Okay, y'all know, y'all know me. I have, you know, I have my moments sometimes, you know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. So we are here to help encourage you to see the diamond that is in you. The diamond that we see is the diamond that God sees Hallelujah Preferably. And if we, if you don't see what God sees, then we're here to help you get there. Amen, we're all trying to get there to see, see ourselves the way that God sees us. Amen, that's really primarily what we're here to do and, as Michael has already said, we are in the season of revival here at God's diamonds in the rough, amen. So, before we go any further with topic or what we're going to be talking about today, we're going to go into a word of prayer.

Speaker 2:

Let us pray, dear Father, our Lord and our Savior, jesus Christ, we come to you right now, giving you all the glory and honor due to you, for you worth it. We pray in the name of Jesus that we get into your word and get into the revelation that you have put in us to be put out to other believers. We pray in the name of Jesus that you just have your way. We pray in the name of Jesus, counselor and your assignment of the enemy that will be sent back into the picture of where it came from. We pray in the name of Jesus, beg your forgiveness for anything we might say, done or thought that's not pleasing your sight that you will grace your forgiveness and cast back in the picture of where it came from. We pray in a seed for the ones that have no desire to know who you are, that when you would just touch them right now, wherever they are going, to crown their heads to the souls of the feet that the rebirth of the revelation do revival, we take place. We pray in the name of Jesus for the ones that does not know how to pray. We pray in the name of Jesus in a seed for them, on their behalf. We pray in the name of Jesus for just everybody your children, your people, your followers, your soon to be followers. We pray in the name of Jesus that you just have your way in them and through them. We pray these things all in Jesus mighty and maximum name. We do pray. We say thank you, amen.

Speaker 1:

Amen.

Speaker 2:

Amen and amen.

Speaker 1:

Amen, hallelujah so. So, today we are talking about a familiar topic here. We're talking about purpose because we have talked about you know us inwardly, and you know the mind and the heart and all of that in regard to revive one. So today we are going a little bit further down the line Amen, or not really down the line, but just really where the Lord is taking us and he's talking. He's taking to, talking, talking to us in regard to a purpose, in vision, and we definitely always want to relate our topic with rooted in Scripture, and so one of the scriptures that bring us to this point is about vision, and it's out of Proverbs 29, verse 18.

Speaker 2:

And it says it says where there is no vision, the people perish, but he that keepeth the law happy is he. You know, as I look at that scripture and I sometimes you know I had to do this sometimes and that's in the King James version but sometimes we look at scripture and we don't really understand exactly what God is telling us. Sometimes we, you know, it's good to always stay in King James, but sometimes, you know, we have to get it broken down into a clear understanding of what God is saying. So this is what it says in the message Bible, same chapter, proverbs 29, 18. He says if people can't see what is God is doing, they stumble all over themselves. But when they attend to what he reveals, they are more blessed. And when I, when I look at like that is like you know, we got to realize that when we do things on our own, we wind up making more of a mess of things. Then was attended, but this is caveat when we allow God to Do those things for us, we wind up being more blessed than we ever thought. I can think I can relate back to things. You know, I'll try to do things on my own and I wind up making a big mess of it of things and wind up getting myself into a whole lot more trouble. But I take the same scenario and allow God to do it. It'll come all better.

Speaker 1:

Amen, vision is definitely. I believe that vision is essential to where you're going, and, and he does not do anything without purpose, without intention, and you know God and himself is that, and we all to walk, for like that don't get, so I guess, bound to this earth, that you miss your heavenly purpose. Amen, you are a diamond, a man, and he wants you to carry yourself as such, and you know it's unfortunate that it's some things that are dead in us, that shouldn't be, and so you know. And then there are also things that are attached to us that are dead, and it's dead weight that you're carrying. He wants you wants to release us all from any dead weight that is attached to us. And so, as we go through this season of revival and God has you here in our season, in this season, and you know it is not by accident, it is on purpose you must see yourself the way that God does, and in order to see yourself, vision is essential. So is carriage, what you think.

Speaker 2:

Definitely so, because you know, and something you just say it, you know it, it relates back to you know so, in Proverbs 29, verse 18, which says a servant wouldn't be corrected by words but though he understand, he would not answer. Sometimes God lets a note, it Look, sometimes he tells us things, but it's more like it goes in one ear and comes out the other. You know, we we got a. We got to take those things that God gives us and Attain it to our lives, instead of letting words flow out. Because sometimes we we hear God speaking to us and talking to us about things, but we we push it aside, like, oh well, he ain't talking to me. Hey, I mean, I'm dissing, I'm that. And we got to realize that, look, we're not perfect. We got to understand that when God speaks to us it's for a reason, because he wants us to get closer to him. But we think we got it all together. The reality is we don't.

Speaker 1:

You know I, you know, I, you know I don't know why I was. Just I just feel like there's someone that's here listening. That is that you got more fear than you do faith or courage, because in order to move in coverage, faith is required, and he did not give any of us a spirit of fear. He's giving us what we need to go forth in what he's called us to do. So we just want to encourage you, diamond, that you are a diamond and you have what it takes. You have exactly what it takes to do what you have set out to do, because he said he'll go before us, a man, and if you are here, we know that you are part of the family of God. You are our brother, you're our sister and he wants you to go forth To do what he has called you to do. Forget what they say, forget what your education says, forget what your money says. Forget all of that and go forth and the Lord, a man, and don't be this. Courage, because nobody's supporting you. Don't get discouraged because it seemed like nobody sees you, nobody hears you. All of that's important, you know. All of that's important to who you are becoming. Look how many times Jesus Went by himself when he prayed. He went so many times that the Bible tells us that in times they didn't tell us that Jesus went away from everybody and everything he got along with the Lord. Maybe that that not know. Maybe that is essential for where he's taking you, because if you're by himself with the Lord, then ain't nobody else talking about him and you get to learn his voice with your thoughts on that you know, I always was thinking about that.

Speaker 2:

You know the isolation is very needed, because how can we properly and clearly hear God if we got a lot of people talking to our ears? Sometimes we have to sit in a place and it doesn't even have to physically be in and a in a place away from everybody. It can be in our own thoughts with God. Sometimes we got to have those, those as I have sometimes, those those God moments when it's like God is speaking. But sometimes, when God speaks, it's not for everybody to hear it, for you to hear, yeah, yeah, but sometimes we we tend to to speak what God is speaking to us, to other people, but it's intended for you. Absolutely yeah, yeah so I would definitely say the isolation sometimes is very necessary, like I said, because if you got, just say, for an example, you got your kids on one hand talking to you, you got your spouse talking to you on your one hand, you got brothers, other brothers and sisters and believers in Christ in the church talking to you here, but how can you really hear the voice of God if you got thousands of voices all screaming at one time?

Speaker 1:

Right, you gotta. You gotta know who's calling you. You gotta know who's calling your name. You gotta know when God is calling your name, even when it is a whole bunch of voices in the background. This is this is really a A one of the big things that happens in isolation. You learn how he talks to you. So when, so? So when you learn so, when you've learned His voice because he said, my sheep know my voice when you've learned his voice, even even if it's 500 people in the room, when he calls you, when he says something to you, you can recognize his voice out of anybody. Let me make an example. You know your mama's voice. That's the voice first voice you hear when you come out of that matter, your mama's voice. I mean, excuse me, out of your mama's womb when your mama called you. I don't care how many people in the room, your mama called you. You know her voice because you've spent time with her, whether she's in the room with a whole bunch people or by herself. Look, you was inside of your mama. There were other voices, but that your mama's voice was always with you. So when you come out of Her womb, that's the one voice you can, you can. You can hear and you recognize, out of anybody, voices that come and see oh, he's a cute. You know, out of all of them, ones that come, come looking at you and when you you know when you're an infant you can't Uh respond. You don't know who they are. You're looking and you're crying at them. But mama is the one voice that you know because you spent time with her all by yourself.

Speaker 2:

Jesus. That was, and I'm gonna be a little transparent for a minute. You know, you know, sometimes I had those moments, whether I'm asleep or I'm woke, and this, this is the key when guy called you, he doesn't say hey you, hey, hey, you know, he calls you by your name, to the point that when he calls you by your, by your name, Sometimes, when he calls you by your name, it sounds just like you, right? Because I know sometimes I can hear. I can hear things talking or hear, hear a voice and nobody's around, but it sounds like me talking to myself. We got to realize that, look, god, god knows our language, god knows our voice. Therefore, our voices sound like he is.

Speaker 1:

I was looking, I'm looking up a scripture right now, where uh somebody in the bible experienced A lord when he was calling.

Speaker 2:

It was um first Samuel. It was Samuel.

Speaker 1:

Samuel three. Oh it says, the boy Samuel, minister before the Lord, under Eli, in those days, in the word of the Lord, was rare. That were not many visions. I don't know what version this is, but I'm going to go on, for this is what came up. So one night Eli, whose eyes was becoming so weak that he could barely see, was lying down in his usual place. The lamp of God had not yet gone out and Samuel was lying down in the temple of the Lord, whether Archimandem was. Then the Lord called Samuel. Samuel answered here I am. And he ran to Eli and he said here I am, you called me. But Eli said I did not call. Go back and lie down. So he went and he laid down again. The Lord called Samuel and Samuel got up and went to Eli and said here I am, you called me, my son. Eli said I did not call. Go back and lie down Now. Samuel did not know yet. Know the Lord. Notice, he said. Now. Samuel did not yet know the Lord. The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him, but he heard him calling him even before he knew who it was calling. He thought of his father calling his earthly father. But reality tells us through the word of God. It wasn't his earthly father, because he didn't know. He didn't know his spiritual father yet, but he still called him Jesus. Look, he says verse eight. He says the Lord called Samuel a third time and Samuel got up and went to Eli and said here I am, you called me. Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. So Eli told Samuel go and lie down and if he calls you, say speak, lord, for your servant is listening. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. The Lord came and stood there Calling at the other time Samuel, samuel. Then Samuel said speak, for your servant is listening. And the Lord said Samuel, see, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who calls of it tingle. So I'm just going to stop right there. I don't know again, I don't know what version that was, I just went straight to what Google gave me. But the point of me reading that is that, look, when the Lord calls your name, you're going to know it. You're going to know it, hallelujah. But see, the thing about Samuel was that he had no relationship with God until his earthly father pointed him in the right direction Jesus come on, and that's indication to me that it doesn't matter.

Speaker 2:

And if you think about the story about Samuel Samuel and I preached on this subject before, but we got to realize that, look, it doesn't matter your age for God to call you and I think that's relevant because you know it's let me know that it doesn't matter whether you're old or young. It should be already in you to know the voice of God, even before you even know him.

Speaker 1:

Know him, it doesn't make sense well, I mean, I'm truly believe that, you know, is as a place in all of us. That is, without asking for it, it's a part of us. There's a place inside of each and every human being that's just for the spirit of God. And you know, people try to ignore that voice, try to ignore the prompting and try, try to ignore the knock, the push. You know, but it cannot be ignored, you know, and he's a just God and so he's not gonna find you guilty if you respond to him, me. The Bible says you know, if you want to serve the law, that's fine, you can do that. You want to be apart from Jesus? You can but realize and understand that if you choose to live your life apart from him, then the law is gonna judge you. God won't judge you. The law is gonna judge you at the end of the day, and so the law will find you guilty because it has no grace. It is black and white, ain't no in between? Ain't no, I'm sorry, ain't no, please forgive me. Ain't none of that. You're gonna be judged by the law, but we're not talking about that today. Amen. We're just trying to make it, make a point that you know isolation is for your good.

Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1:

It is not meant to harm you, is not meant to devalue or discount you, but it is for your good. So those times and those seasons, those periods where you go unseen, you go unheard, it is for your good. It is a part of the vision, it's a part of the purpose, it's a part of the shaping, the getting rid of. At the end of the day, it revives you. It does not kill you. It can kill some if you let it. But if you're looking for the good and you're expecting the best from God, then you know something good is gonna come out of that period of being unseen. Hallelujah. You don't have to live in brokenness. You don't have to walk in brokenness. What is happening in your life is for your good and not for your harm. He has given us our plan and a purpose.

Speaker 2:

What is Jeremiah 29, 11 say that's why I know the plans I have for you, plans of peace and suppros for you, just prayer phrasing. Not of evil not of evil, not of harm, but to give you an expected end.

Speaker 1:

So at the end of the day, we have to know that God has a plan. All things are working for you. All things are working for you, not against you at the end of the day, not against you, but for you. Do not allow life to cripple you, because when it cripples you you can carry a spirit of brokenness. You can carry that, that, that thing where you know you can never see the good in anything Ever. You can never expect good to come to you if you carry that type of spirit on you. The enemy only has a power that you and yourself give him if he tells you that you're a failure. You failure and you're not good enough and you walk around believing this. This is how you become a broken vessel that can never be whole Until you meet. Him cannot allow to allow the enemy to have the satisfaction of the doubt. You gotta shake that devil off. A man you tell him as a liar, in the name of Jesus from the pits of hell.

Speaker 2:

And I would just say you know that. You know sometimes we got to realize that if you look at the form of formation of a diamond you know we already talked about through other episodes. But one thing I think that's relevant is that when the diamond is formed, sometimes when you define that diamond, you have to break the outer shell. When you break the outer shell, that thing that's holding you into that bondage or that captivity, it reveals the beauty from the inside. The outer shell has to be broken off. That's what the diamond is. It's the breaking of the old things that hold you tight.

Speaker 1:

Hey man, you know I mean, and that's absolutely true you look at it all. You know we're not going to go through it right now, but if you go all the way back to the first and second episode first and second episode for our podcast you'll find you know the meat of the development of a diamond and everything that incurs because of it. We will not be just distracted me, I'm sorry. He just distracted me. I'm so sorry, I apologize, hit him. Anyways, you go back to those two episodes, you'll find out the skinny on the development of a diamond and you can go back to Google and go to YouTube or whatever to verify what we've given in regard to to that. But we are getting ready to get out of here, but we wanted to to kind of open the door to two guests that'll follow after this episode, and one of them's name is Andrina Sawyer and the other, her name is Anna McLaughlin. Those two ladies powerhouses, and they're going to be talking about exactly what we've been talking about today. And again, we just want to encourage you to look up. Don't look down. Even if you look down for a moment, don't stay there. Look up, you stay up. Amen. God is giving you a purpose, he's giving you a vision, he's giving you more than you probably recognize, because we live in a world where you know, miss Sawyer, she said, she said she said something that was just kind of hung with me. We live in a Godless culture. Don't get part, don't get wrapped up in the culture. You know they might not want to honor him, but you honor him with your life. Amen. You honor him, no matter what, be unshakable and unmovable one today. So, michael, you have a final thought before I pray.

Speaker 2:

I would definitely say you know, when you, when you said about being unshakable and unmovable, you know, check out Proverbs um, I think it's 16, verses 9, 8 through 10. It's lessons. Know that. You know we place God at our right hand, that we shall not be moved. That means you know, no matter how hell or how water that comes in us and before us, we're unshakable. You can try, but you're not going to succeed. And that's the thing we need to tell the enemy that you know you can try to. You know you can try to shake my faith, but all you're going to do is fail. And when you tell them that all you're going to do is fail, you need to laugh at him in his face. Yeah, it might make him mad, but guess what? He'll be all right, amen, but until next time.

Speaker 1:

I got to pray. Slow down, dang it. Oh, see, see, see, see.

Speaker 2:

Ha ha, got you, got you on your toes.

Speaker 1:

Dang it. Yeah, let's pray, father, we thank you so much for this day and we thank you so much for what it's been, and we thank you so much for this conversation. Bless everyone who has an ear to hear God. We pray Lord, that you will just continue to do a work in our lives that only you can. We bless your name and we say thank you again In Jesus Christ's name. We do pray, amen, amen and a man. God bless you all. Y'all have a great week and we will see you and talk to you the next time.

Speaker 2:

See how to keep you along your toes. But now remember, until next time you are a diamond in the rough.
