Speaker 1:

Hello and welcome back. It's diamonds in the world, amen. We are still getting used to the whole video thing, so we do apologize, but God bless you. Thank you so much for being here one more time. If you don't know who we are, I'm Catherine.

Speaker 2:

And I'm Michael.

Speaker 1:

Amen, and we are always here and ready to serve and then be the blessing that God desires us to be. Today's topic we are talking about the right attitude, amen, as we enter into a series of interviews that talk about joy and so on, so forth, really showing every turn the attitudes that God desires Through several guests that are in coming behind us, amen. And so, before we go any further, we are going to I know what we got to- do?

Speaker 2:

I got to pray, but first, you know, I got to say you didn't even say ask me how. I'm doing, I'm sorry honey, I'm doing good and I hope you're doing good too. Amen. But let us pray. Dear Heavenly Father, our Lord and our Savior, jesus Christ, we just thank you for just being who you are in our lives. We thank you for just showing your love through our actions and our ways and our things that we do for you. We pray in the name of Jesus that we get into your word and and just understand the diamonds that you have created us to be, that we will claim it as a diamond in your sight. We pray in the name of Jesus, rebuke any assignment or the enemy that we sent back into the picture where it came from. We pray in the name of Jesus that you just have your way In. Jesus Christ, holy and maximum name, jesus Christ. We say thank you, thank you, and we say amen, amen.

Speaker 1:

Amen, hallelujah, amen. So, alright, the right attitude. What's your thoughts about it?

Speaker 2:

The right attitude. I would definitely say it's you got to be joyful, happy and all the positive things in everything we go through in life. Because I think, if you have that mindset of what was me, yeah. You know it, and that word it said is it speaks for itself. What was me is. It's almost like I'm helpless. Yeah, but if you have a, as Romans 12 speaks about, it says having a renewed mindset. You know, you got to have that renewed mindset of not saying what was me is. No matter what I go through in my life, I'm a smile. Amen, it's easy, it's easier and I would say it's easier said than done. Because life with those curveballs to the point that it's look like you take four steps forward but you take ten back, but in the, in the midst of you know you taking those 12 steps back or 10 steps back, you got to remember that you got to keep reaching and pulling to pull yourself back up. Absolutely, you can't have that mentality of always being pulled down. Yeah, and trust me, there's people out there that will actually pull you down. That's what we call what the crab mentality, and I think those two things go hand in hand because you know all of you doing everything that you need to do or should do, there's always that one that don't want to see you in advance.

Speaker 1:

Man, that's true. I mean, that's so true. You know, it really is a mind, it's a mindset. Yeah, no, we've been talking over and over again about mindset You're all are going to be able to have it the praises of the Lord, and really walk out the revival. You got to change your mind, amen. It just takes us back to the earlier part of the season, amen. We talked about mindset and went through all of that, amen. The women who are because all women know it's two women Silla, no, morela I'm sorry y'all I'm trying to put name, but Morela Sebo and that Walker, I think, sandra Mayo, I think those are the next three ladies that are going to be on the show. I'm talking about, more than anything, your attitude. You know focusing on your attitude and how. You know how you are walking this thing out, because you know it's not enough to know it. Because we know it, we all know what we're supposed to do, we know how we should act, we know how we should respond, but we don't always do it. You have to ask yourself well, why can I do what I want to do? Paul said you know, you know, when I want to do good, I do bad, and I desire to do, I do. I do bad, desiring to do good. You know what I mean and so you know it really is. It's a balance. It's a delicate balance and that when we are just going for and being intentional.

Speaker 2:

So it requires a mind to do it and I'll definitely say you know it's a arm. It's definitely a balance in that, because you got to think with your attitude it revolves around two things your spiritual mindset and your physical mindset. And I say that because, see, you got to understand that your attitude can be reflected in two ways. Your attitude can be reflected in one your speech. That's your spiritual mindset. But there's a flip side of your physical mindset, which is your body language. There's your speech line up with your body language, because you can say nothing but say a lot with how you act.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely, I'm telling you. It takes us back. I think it's episode about three or four, maybe even five in in the in the earlier part of season three. Maybe we'll note that in the in our show notes as to what episode we can go back to, you can go back to it, really dig and dive deep into the area where the Lord and the Holy Spirit led us into our conversation about our body language, and you know how we, you know, deal with people, because it just goes deeper. And I would guess this is like. This is not only an entrance for these ladies who are coming for, but it's also a reminder, a reminder of Galatians 5. And Galatians 5, verse 18, particularly says but if he be led of the Spirit, he are not of the Lord. He says Matter of fact. Go back a little further. First, 16 says this I say, then, walk in the spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of flesh. Ok, so the first part of this, this intention, is I decided I'm walking In the spirit, I'm not, you know, debilitating and dabbling in this and in that. I decided walking in the spirit. Because when you decide, paul says you won't entertain the lust of the flesh, does it mean that you won't be Amen? Does it mean that you're going to see something and not, you know, see something that you like and you ain't going to want it, because that's what lust is. You see something you like and in that moment you want it. And when you really lusting after it. You know you're thinking about it, you know, you, you, you began to ponder on the idea of having it. He says to us if we're walking by the spirit, then even when those things come into our gates, we're able to walk away from it and keep it.

Speaker 2:

And you know, I can, I can say definitely, you know, and With those things that that you're talking about, it's almost like it starts in the heart Transcend it to the mind and filter through the mouth Because you think about it. Ok, you, you got to understand that when you get an idea or something, it always starts in your heart. Then, once you get into your heart, the next thing he gets it is your brain. Then you're thinking about it. You already, you already know what you want in your heart. But then you get to the mindset of, hey, I got, I got to have it. That's what you're thinking. Then come from. But then once your brain hits it, and once your brain attains it, it has to come out somewhere. And where it come out, and where it come out, you're my man, absolutely, you know.

Speaker 1:

And then to add with this thought or with the scripture, it goes on to say he says for the flesh, lust. Death against spirit. So, and he says and the spirit against the flesh. So you got to know that what feels good and what tastes good, it nine times out of ten, is going to be untrary spirit. You know what I mean, because we don't always like the direction that God oftentimes gives us. We don't always like the results that he puts before us when we're dealing with this and dealing with that. But what this is, what you got to realize, is that the flesh is lusting against the spirit. The lust, the flesh is doing exactly the opposite of what the spirit would have you to do, and the spirit is going to push against the flesh. At the end of the day, the spirit is going to tell the flesh no, you're not doing that. So this is why you got to decide which way you're going to go. There is no such thing as middle. I'm a halfway do this and I'm a halfway do that. Amen. That's a double minded person, and revelation describes it as lukewarm. Neither you're not hot nor cold. You are in one way or the other way, you, you trying to live on both sides of the fence and when it comes down to the things of God, you don't do that. Look, at the end of the day, you have free will and it's up to you to do what you want to do. Amen. But I'm telling you, as a child of God, we ought to be expressing the character of Jesus. This is what we are producing, this is the fruit. Amen, hallelujah.

Speaker 2:

And just to add to what you were saying in Revelation I think it's the Revelation on chapter three, verse 16, when it says lukewarm Christian. I might be wrong, but you know, god will rather, and this is what I'm hearing in spirit he will rather you be cold or hot than in the middle. He will rather you not follow him than the behalf way. And we got to realize too, and something you were saying about the spirit. It's almost like this Everything that you see doesn't doesn't necessarily mean it tastes good. And I was using, for example, ok, strawberry salad, ok, a bowl of strawberries, just because the bowl of strawberries look good and you think it looks good, but sometimes that it can be bitter and not sweet, right. So everything that we see doesn't necessarily mean it's it's good, right.

Speaker 1:

And you know, using the same analogy of those strawberries, those strawberries might look good, but if you're allergic to them, yeah. There's a problem. And what happens? If you know that you are allergic to it, you decide oh, he looks so good, I'm going to go ahead and have one, even though I know that if I have that strawberry I'm going to break out in halves or I might end up in the hospital, but I'm still going to have it anyway. This is trying to. This is look my flesh, which is the desire for the strawberries, fighting against the spirit. The spirit, look, because he's not blown himself in us. He's already decided and preordained you cannot have this. I don't want you to have this in your body, but you decided. Your flesh is decided, that looks good and I want it, so I'm going to have it, I don't care the consequences. Well, the spirit says no, you can't have this. And so, therefore, I'm going to respond to your disobedience because you did it anyway. Now you have hives, now you have this going on, now you have that going on, and it's a constant battle. Strawberries was just an analogy. Analogy, but this is life.

Speaker 2:

Amen.

Speaker 1:

I mean down to marriage, dealing with your children, dealing with your money, your ministry, your job? Amen, no matter what you're dealing with, there is constantly your flesh and the spirit wide battling back and forth. Who is going? Who are you going to allow to have control?

Speaker 2:

And you know, and I like what you just said about you know who we're going to have give control to. And I was using, for example, there's a. The description says get hence behind me, satan. You know, that's basically telling you know Satan to go to hell. But it's, it's a. And see this, this is thing, and I got to say this because I was once there. I said this. So this is how I know. You know we're so quick to speak in the flesh of telling other people to go to hell, but when it comes to telling the enemy to go to hell, we're scared. I mean, that's, that's, that's real, real talk. You know we're so quick to tell people to go to hell, but the moment of the enemy creeps in, we always want to hide.

Speaker 1:

We almost invited me in. Let him have a place, because they only wants to have a foot, foot, foot. Hey, you said Foot hole. Yeah, he wants to have a foot hole in your life, you know? I mean, it's a real thing. He wants to have a place, he wants to die in your table. Now, imagine, you know, and imagine Jesus at the table with his disciples, communing with them and knowing goodness. Well, look, the Satan is sitting there. Satan is ready and waiting to attack. He told me to go do what you got to do. Amen, hallelujah. Jesus was confident in who he is. Amen. I don't say was, because he is always will be. He's confident who he is, amen. And he's not allowing the tactics of the enemy. He's not allowing the desire of the enemy to have him captive. He's not allowing any of that to steal his joy. He's not allowing any of that to stop his purpose the plan that Jesus, that the Lord, has for him. Amen, he's not allowing, and we can't either. I know it gets harder and I know it gets difficult, diamonds, but we ought to choose to have the right attitude, mm hmm, irregardless of how they treated us, irregardless of what they're saying about us, irregardless of what life is throwing at us, amen.

Speaker 2:

And you know, just like, just like Jesus, when he was at the, at the, at the dinner table, and he didn't have no doubt in his mind of who he was, he had to have the same mentality of not just who we are, but who's we are. Amen.

Speaker 1:

So you know, you just say what I said, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I do, yeah, I do.

Speaker 1:

Y'all gonna laugh with us.

Speaker 2:

Y'all know who I am now it's all right. I had my Michael moments. Now it's all right.

Speaker 1:

You gotta love it, amen, because you know, when you're in a room like this, you gotta learn how to adapt with where you are. And you know I could get mad and I could get upset. You know, vice versa, get mad and get upset, because you know you said what I was going to say, type of thing. But at the end of the day we're one mind, one heart, one body. Amen For him, Hallelujah, and so our language, all to say on the same anyway, Hallelujah. And so you know. Coming back to the scripture and directly relating to our now and what is coming, he says it's a fruit of a spirit, it is love. We've explained this before. But when you see a tree, you see it bare and naked. It lets us know that it is not producing. In a wintertime, right after fall, anything that says life was on that tree is now gone. All the leaves are gone and it's just bare and naked. It looks dead because it doesn't show any life. Amen. Winter is typically cold and gloomy and you know you just want to stay in the house and all of that got snow and ice and all of these different components going on. But when springtime comes, it looks like life begins to happen. Yeah, you got rain, yeah, you got snow, storms and whatnot, but you begin to see the beauty. After the pain or after the dryness, or after the death, you begin to see life. You see the flowers outside. You see the bees and the flies begin to show up. You see all of these things begin to happen, amen, after death has occurred or after what we can't see, we can't see as life. Life begins to show itself, amen.

Speaker 2:

And I'll just add to that you know, that's that's the whole thing that we say. You know, with no root there's no fruit. But we gotta realize that you know, and God gives us an answer for everything in every area of our life, and just using that, for example, with no root there's no fruit. That's why his word tells us that we had to be in season and out of season, that we had to follow him.

Speaker 1:

Man, I'm gonna kind of finish what I was saying. That tree, you're fine, that tree, and when it's not producing anything, it doesn't look like it's alive, it looks dead. But when you see an apple tree and you see apples on it, it is producing the fruit that it has been designed to produce. I mean to produce. I'm gonna say that again because my words got twisted. But when you see an apple tree, you know you planted an apple tree and it's out of the ground and it's standing tall. You're looking at that tree, you're expecting what Apples? You're expecting the apples to show up on that tree at some point in time. If that tree doesn't have apples, you wonder did I plant it deep enough? Did it get enough water? Did it get enough sunshine? Why isn't this tree producing? This is what Christ looks at us sometimes. Why isn't this tree producing what it's supposed to be producing? And if it's not producing what it's supposed to produce, what does he do? He purges it, he presses it down, he keeps it low, he keeps it out of sight until we begin to what Produce? Come on now. You probably finished my words. Now Produce. So it begins to produce and then it fall on because it's done. He's done, did what he had to do to the tree. You begin to see little bits of fruit on that tree and this is what we ought to see when people see us and we are proclaiming Jesus, we ought to see, people ought to see in us love, not saying. Not just saying, because that's a part of it saying I love you to people, to your husband, to your wife, to your children. You're supposed to be saying to them I love you, but it's more than that. We ought to be operating as love, because the Bible teaches us what that Jesus is.

Speaker 2:

Love.

Speaker 1:

Jesus is love, and everything that he did it was expressed in and out of love. Absolutely so, therefore, we ought to be producing.

Speaker 2:

Love.

Speaker 1:

Amen, come on somebody. And we ought to be producing. The Bible says joy when they see us. They shouldn't have to wonder if there's something different about you. We ought to have a smile. Isn't that kind of scary? You didn't see people with just a smile, just pasted on their face?

Speaker 2:

always smiling.

Speaker 1:

You know, it's like what is wrong with them, but this is what we're supposed to be.

Speaker 2:

And you know, the first thing that you think about when you see that is something got to be wrong with them, right? Why is it every time, no matter what get thrown at them, they always smiling? But she doesn't think we have to understand that in life, whether it's through fruits or prosperity, we all go through a season of dormant. And when you go through the season of dormant, that's where God can really work on you, because we're so busy trying to produce things that it looks like we're not getting nowhere. But see, sometimes God has to put us in that, as you say, press down in a dormant season to get us where we need to go, according to Him. But sometimes we get so busy we're doing things and doing things and doing things and doing things, but we're not prospering because we're doing it in flesh. But that pace that on smile can't think, can really make you think, hey, I don't know if I want to talk to Him, let me move away from Him.

Speaker 1:

But here's another reality is that we can tell what's real and what's being painted. Amen, you can tell. It's kind of like when you look at art on the wall you can tell what's been photocopied and what's been what's the original. You know what I mean. And it's like when people are genuinely expressing joy. You can tell. You can really tell, and you can tell when people are just making it, doing it, making it, pushing what it is called Faking it, faking it, making it. You can tell, you can always tell. But look, fruit is something that is produced out of the tree. Amen. So when you're walking around all bubbly and happy, there's got to be something on the inside that is producing that. Amen, Hallelujah. Look, it's got to be real. It's something that you see outside, outside of your house and inside of your house. It's not just something that you express outside of your house, because if it's just outside of your house, that means that thing is being faked until you make it. But if it's only inside of your house, I'm talking about inside of your physical house, inside of you as an individual. I'm talking about outside. When people see you outside. When people don't see you, come on somebody. That is truly fruit. It's produced out of who you are, Same as love, same as patience or peace, same as what does he say? He says peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. Against such there is no law. He lets us know here that these things, these attributes, these attitudes, this heart, posture, it is what is produced outside, it's produced from within, outside, it is what is going on right here in your heart that people see on the outward, what you see, forget what people see what you see about yourself. And when you are out of alignment, you know it, Don't.

Speaker 2:

Nobody got to tell you your and you know this is the key of speaking on the same language, because I was just thinking that Hallelujah and just like, if you take what she just said, you know already taken place, it's almost symbolic to a water baptism. It is an outward show of what has already taken place in the heart that I don't know how to explain it more better than that, because you know, we got to understand that the things that we produce, and it's show is a process of things that's already transformed and transpired from inside. Mm, hmm.

Speaker 1:

You got it, woo man, that's fire, that is fire, oh gosh. And then when you look, at the process of the text he says and they that are Christ have crucified the flesh, amen, he says. Look, when you are producing this, that means that you're not led by how you feel. Amen. When this fruit is being produced in you, then how I feel it doesn't really matter, hallelujah. And therefore, what they say about me, what they throw at me, what life have, what life throws at me, and so on and so forth, none of that matters, because the same way that Christ hung on the cross is the same way that I have decided to hang my flesh. I receive an exchange because I have crucified my flesh and exchange. I gain the fruit of the spirit, I gain the spirit. And so, as Paul said, in my physical realm, in what I can see, what I can touch, that has died, that part of me has died, while the spirit in me has now risen. Come on somebody, hallelujah.

Speaker 2:

If you want to reference what she just said, it's in, it's in 1 Corinthians, and just paraphrasing it says that and this is just paraphrasing it and basically saying that it's not Christ, it's not I delivered, but it's Christ that lives in me, because I crucified my flesh but nevertheless I live through Christ. And this is paraphrasing and you know that is a powerful scripture, because we got to think that, look, jesus took our own sin, he took on our worries, he took on everything that we can even possibly think, so that we don't have to. If you don't believe me, look at I think it's first Corinthians, 1555 to 58, when he said he took the sting out of death. We had to realize that, look, everything that Jesus did. He willingly, willingly did it. Yeah, he set up on the cross. He could have said anything to get himself off of that cross. He could have very well looked at the pins in his hands, looked at the ones on his feet and mentally moved them out, but he didn't. He hung there anyway, just so that we can have life more abundantly. And here we are worried about little things, little bitty things in life. And we worried about it. Why Does the same worry less and pray more. And that's what we need to have a mindset of of stop worrying about things and pray and believe. And that's the key. When we pray, we have to believe. He says in Mark 1124, very, very, I say unto you whatever you pray for, believe that you want them and you shall have it. Amen, we got to start worrying guys, we got to start worrying diamonds about things of life. Life is life, life is going to happen. You have no control over life, mm. Hmm, let go and let God Come on.

Speaker 1:

We're going to talk about it.

Speaker 2:

Let go and let God.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah hey man, hallelujah man. So we're, we're at our time, we're actually like over our time, amen.

Speaker 2:

I got chills again.

Speaker 1:

I mean, I mean, this is powerful, Just a powerful reminder of us looking at us. Amen, we can wait on somebody to tell us, but the beauty of it all is that you have a relationship with Jesus and what he is shaping and what he's, what he, as you, are the clock, as we are the clay, and he's the powder as he shapes us. He shows us, amen. He shows us what we need to see and humility will allow us to be affirmed and confirmed by his sons and his daughters. Hallelujah, amen, amen. Come on somebody. So you know we wrap up, getting ready to wrap up with with some, with the prayer. Y'all know, as always, but you know I want to give you this final scripture before we go into prayer and just really say to you get your heart, to your mind, settled, amen, and receive what the Lord is bringing forth into your life in this time and in the season of your life. Amen, you are a diamond and he wants you to shine, hallelujah. He wants us all to shine for him when they see us, we all to reflect him. Hallelujah, hallelujah. So here's this final scripture, amen. It says this this is Galatians verse, chapter five. Verse 25 says if we live in the spirit that is also walking the spirit. Hallelujah, if we live in the spirit, that is also walking the spirit. Find a word or a final statement before I pray.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, um. My final word has to come from the next book from Galatians, which is Ephesians, very 20. It says now the hymn that is able to do a seedling, a bundling, above all, that we can ask or think according to the power that work within us. We have to realize that we have the power as well, because it work is in us. As long as we are following Jesus Christ and not just following him, believing in him, we have all power. He says plenty in his words that we have the ability to lay hands on a sick, that we had ability to touch serpents and inside, not harm us. We have to realize that we have power, so much power, but if we don't walk in the power, we hand it over to the enemy. We need to stop giving the enemy the power Because we can just simply tell him to go to hell. He has to go, he has to obey our word because we have the power invested in us through Jesus Christ himself. Stop giving the enemy a foothold and some would say, stop giving the enemy a notch in his belt. You have more not to think you're better than he does. You have ammo In your gun, which is the word of God, mm. Hmm, if it empties out, reload it. Get back into his word, fill up with more. He said his word would never end. Get into his word, walk into authority and the man that he has given you.

Speaker 1:

That's my word. The right attitude, the right Father, we thank you so much for this day, thank you so much for what it's been. We thank you, god, for this conversation and we just pray for every ear, every heart that is here, god, we pray, lord. The blessings of the Lord be upon you. It's so very grateful and so thankful, god, for what you are doing in this season, in this time. But we know it's so much trouble is going on and around our world, god, that you are still God, amen, you're still good, and we are just so grateful, so thankful, god, that we can see that. We can see that we are yours and we don't have to worry about what's going on over in this country and this state and on this street corner and and and, and that job and that ministry. We don't have to worry about all of it. Father, we're thankful. We're grateful. Continue to improve our attitude, continue to shape in us for the, for the walk and in the assignment that you have placed us on. We rebuke the assignment of the enemy. We rebuke the attack of the enemy. We rebuke the things that he's trying to do to put stumbling stones in front of us to stop us from feeling the purpose and the plight, the purpose and the plan that you have for us. We rebuke him, we bind him up, as you bind him up in heaven, that you would, in the name of Jesus, jesus, god, loose all that you designed for us in heaven. That it be loose here on this earth. God, we thank you so much and we pray God, that our prayer, this prayer, is pleasing in your sight. We glorify your name. We pray this prayer in Jesus Christ's name. We do pray, amen.

Speaker 2:

Amen.

Speaker 1:

Amen and a man Hallelujah. All right, y'all. Y'all have a great week, amen, and we look forward to getting back with you next week. Amen, amen. Have a blessed Hold up.

Speaker 2:

Y'all know what time it is. Remember until next time. You are a diamond in the rough.

Speaker 1:

Man.
